In an effort to better utilize a small hidden room behind my shop, I decided to turn it into a recording studio. After I outfitted the walls with acoustic foam panels, it was sounding great in there but I needed to jazz it up with an LED-illuminated sign as well as a beautiful desk made from a Honeylocust slab. This was my first time using epoxy to fill large voids as well as my first time to inlay bow ties. It was a learning experience for sure but I’m very pleased with the end result. Check out the video and see for yourself the cool transformation of a drab storage room into the perfect recording studio!
