HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Huntersville Fire responded to a building fire at a woodworking shop at 4:38 Friday morning. Firefighters were able to put the fire out but say the shop is a total loss.
There were no injuries.
Gilead Road closed for a few hours but has since reopened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
FIRE UPDATE: Alerted at 4:38am, Engine 2 is several hundred yards away & fire was already through the roof as they left the station. A large, private, woodworking shop.
